HP OfficeJet Pro 8022 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Spontaneously, after working properly for almost 2 years, my printer gave me the error message: "One or more cartridges are missing or damaged. Until cartridges are replaced make sure the printer is turned on to avoid damage to the printer".

Accordingly, I replaced all the cartridges with new ones from my Instant Ink program. I continued to get this error and the printer will not print.

I went through all the troubleshooting steps with the Support bot, turning off the computer, unplugging, replacing the cartridge when re-plugged, cleaning the contacts, etc. and nothing helps the problem. Finally the bot tells me to contact an agent, but I live in Switzerland and this is not as straight forward as in the US.

I'm really hoping that my printer is not broken because I need it. I am enrolled in Instant Ink and have no other new cartridges, other than the ones I just replaced. Even though the error seems to specify the "M" magenta cartridge, I replaced them all.

Can someone help me please? Thank you.

Andrew
