First off, trying to get ahold of a human at HP is an awful trip in a round-a-bout. After trying to deal with the chatbot and giving up, I'll try here. Last night my printer tripped the GFI Interrupt in my electrical circuit. A small puff of smoke came from the front of the printer. The print cartridge shorted and melted a small bit. I'd like to let HP know, but, maybe I should rent a blimp and fly over to the headquarters. Yes, my home is very clean, not a dusty dirty mess. Apologies for the inconvenience. Kindly do not use the printer for safety measures. As this is a hardware issue, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Hey Kumar0307, Sorry, but the link you sent me is for a business account, I'm not a business, so no, it doesn't help. In fact, this goes right along with what I've been saying. It is very hard to let HP know of a potential problem or contact anyone. I can't in good conscious place another HP Product in my home. Apparently, HP does not take safety seriously.
