Hello
I have replaced the old cartridges with HP original cartridges (colour and BW) of a printer i purchased from a friend.
I get the following message:
Print Cartridge(s) missing or not detected
I have tried everything but not able to get them to work
Any idea please

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Photosmart C4380 All-In-One Printer.
Are you using Genuine HP ink cartridges?
Have you recently moved to another country?
Sometimes new regions have different ink cartridges.
The most common would be the contacts on the cartridges are either dirty or damaged which is causing the printer to report it missing. Please keep in mind that the electrical contacts on ink cartridges are generally designed to work during the initial one time use of the cartridge.
- Remove the unrecognized cartridge and put in an older one.
- Leave your printer alone for around ten minutes.
- Take the old cartridge out and put the previous one in again.
- Restart the machine and it should now work.
