Officejet Pro 8600 Plus
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 plus which began experiencing problems (streaks, etc.) with printing magenta and cyan inks.  I have run all diagnostics and cartridge cleaning several times. Replaced all cartridges (HP).  Diagnostics indicate that the "print head alignment failed". Removed print head and cleaned well and carefully, but still fails, and magenta/cyan still a problem. Considering replacing with new HP print head. Question: Should this solve the issue, or are there other possible failure mechanisms?  Hate spending big $$ for a solution that does not work!  Also don't want to upgrade and throw away lots of 950/951 ink.

Thanks.

For these devices HP typically does not have printheads available, however I  have seen vendors on Ebay that offer the printheads so that is an option for you.

Yes, I can order the printhead from several sources.  My question is what are the chances that replacement will solve my problem.
