Why is it so difficult to just print a picture or to find out just how many pages you have left in the month.  Now I have to go through many windows and hoops to find either.  It was so easy before.

Please give me step by step to do both.  I used to like and bragged about HP print informatiob bow I HATE it.  Looking forward to hearing from you SOON with EASY istructions for both.

Hi @Jackkeilsam

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how frustrating it feels when something that used to be simple now takes extra steps. You’ve already been patient in trying to print a photo and check your monthly page count, so let’s make both tasks straightforward again.

Step‑by‑step: Print a photo

  1. Open the HP App on your Windows computer.
  2. Select your printer from the home screen.
  3. Click Print Photos.
  4. Browse to the folder where your picture is saved.
  5. Select the photo and click Print.
  6. In the print preview window, choose paper size, orientation, and quality.
  7. Click Print to send the job to your printer.

Step‑by‑step: Check how many pages are left in your monthly plan

  1. Open the HP App on your Windows computer.
  2. Select your printer.
  3. Click Instant Ink from the menu.
  4. The dashboard will show:
    • Pages included in your plan
    • Rollover pages available
    • Additional pages purchased and used
    • Remaining pages for the current cycle

To keep things simple: use the HP App for both printing photos and checking your monthly page balance. Printing a photo is just a matter of selecting the file and hitting print, while the Instant Ink section of the app shows your usage at a glance.
