Print head needs constant cleaning

My Officejet Pro 6978 is constantly requiring me to clean the printhead. Every time I print, it is either very streaked or totally not visible. After I do the double cleaning,it will print the few pages that I need then. The next time I need to print the same thing will repeat itself.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
