I am trying to choose an appropriate setting for pearl card 250gsm.  Anyone recommend the correct choice please..  The choices appear to be limited.  I have only just purchased and set up the printer so everything is up to date.

Thanks

Welcome to the HP Community.

Unless your "Pearl" card is actually photo paper, there is no setting to support card paper of this weight.

NOTE:

It is generally not possible to trick the printer by telling it card paper is "photo" paper type.

Most printers can tell the difference.

As a reference,

HP Brochure / Professional Paper 180 gsm

HP Presentation Paper 120 gsm

When supported / listed, "Card" paper is defined as:

HP Index Card 110lb / 200 gsm

"Index" is an ISO manufacturing standard that defines and identifies paper types.
