HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw

Dear all,

I am facing some problems with with the print quality of a printer (HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw).

Every printout has regular black spots on the right edge of the printout. Here an example.

I have already done some typical troubleshooting, such as cleaning the photo conductor unit.

I guess is anyway that this might be somehow related to the photo conductor unit.

How likely do you think it is that this is true? And how likely do you think it is that replacing the photo conductor unit will solve the problem?

The problem is: The photo conductor itself costs ~ 90 € / 100 $ which would be about two thirds of buying a new printer. So, somehow it would be good to be sure that a new photo conductor would solve the problem.

Best regards

Matclou
