@PeiChen85, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding print quality issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It looks like your HP Color Laser 150nw is having some print quality issues. Based on the image you’ve shared, the fading and uneven printing could be caused by a few things:
Low or Uneven Toner Levels – If your toner cartridges are running low or aren’t distributing toner properly, certain areas may print lighter than others. Try checking the toner levels and consider replacing any low cartridges.
Dirty or Worn-Out Transfer Belt or Rollers – Over time, dust or toner buildup on the transfer belt or rollers can cause streaks, fading, or uneven prints. Cleaning the printer’s interior, especially the transfer components, might help.
Incorrect Paper Settings – If the paper type selected in the printer settings doesn’t match the actual paper being used, the toner might not adhere properly. Make sure your settings match the paper you're printing on.
Driver or Firmware Issues – Sometimes, outdated printer drivers or firmware can cause unexpected print defects. Try updating both to see if it improves the output.
Moisture or Humidity Effects – If the paper has absorbed moisture due to humidity, it might not interact well with the toner, leading to faded or inconsistent prints. Using fresh, dry paper can sometimes resolve this.
To start troubleshooting, you can try:
Printing a diagnostic page from the printer’s settings to check if the issue persists across different documents.
Cleaning the rollers and transfer belt using the printer’s built-in cleaning functions (if available).
Replacing any low toner cartridges if needed.
Let me know if you've already tried any of these steps or if you'd like help with a specific fix! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
