I am having significant streaking on Black Ink only and it only shows up on the Print Quality Report at are 9 section K and the top where there is black ink.  Is this repairable somehow?

@jscuras

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

  1. From the Home screen, touch the Right arrow (), and then touch Setup ().

    Figure: Example of the Home screen

  2. Touch the Right arrow () until Tools displays, and then touch OK.

  3. Touch the Right arrow () until Clean Ink Smear displays, and then touch OK.

    The cleaning process will begin. This process takes approximately 3 minutes and ejects a clean page.

  4. Inspect the paper for any smears, and re-run the process if there is an improvement.

    If there are still defects after the cleaning process, retry cleaning only if the printed pages show improvement.

Hope this helps!
