Ive been trying to figure out why every page I print comes out blurry. I’ve preformed every maintenance step I can find. The align cartridges fails but through the app it shows as completed without any issues. Any

Hi @Rajohn,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your printed pages are consistently coming out blurry despite performing maintenance steps and aligning the cartridges, there are several additional troubleshooting steps you can take to address this issue:
1. Check Print Quality Settings
- Printer Settings:
- Ensure that the print quality settings in your printer driver or software are set to a higher resolution. Sometimes, lower-quality settings can result in blurry prints.
- Adjust settings to "Best" or "High Quality" mode for better results.
2. Inspect Cartridges and Printhead
Check Cartridges:
- Verify that the cartridges are installed correctly and securely.
- Ensure that the protective tape or cover has been completely removed from the cartridges.
- Use the printer's software utility or HP Smart app to run a printhead cleaning cycle.
- This can help clear clogged nozzles and improve print quality.
3. Paper Quality and Type
Use Recommended Paper:
- Ensure you are using the appropriate type and quality of paper recommended for your printer.
- Low-quality or incompatible paper can affect print clarity.
- Make sure the paper is loaded correctly and aligned properly in the paper tray.
- Adjust the paper guides to fit snugly against the paper stack.
4. Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer.
- Install updates to ensure your printer has the latest enhancements and fixes.
5. Check for Software Issues:
- Ensure that your printer driver is up to date. Outdated or corrupted drivers can affect print quality.
- Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest driver for your printer model.:
- Before printing, use the print preview option to inspect how the document will appear on paper.
- Adjust settings or make corrections if necessary.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
