Printer App says I have Altered or Cloned Cartridges, (which I do not) and will not print.

To assist you better, which app are you referring to? Is it the HP Smart app?
Are you not able to print?
Make sure you are using HP inks.
Insert one ink cartridge and check for the error to identify the defective one.
Check if the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges
