I have a HP Photosmart 7520 color printer, purchased 3 years ago. Getting error messages "missing or damaged cartridge". Tried replacing black and magenta colors; did not work. Tried HP Virtual Assistant, still did not work. How can I get the cartridge errors fixed?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I see that you have performed all the required steps, however, I request you to reset the printer once and update the firmware: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16 and check if it helps.
Here is how it is done.
- Press the Power button to turn on the product.
- With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 15 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
- If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
If the issue persists, I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
You can check your inbox on the HP community page for the private message.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
