Hello,
I purchased an HP OfficeJet 6950 in EU and then moved to US. The cartridge recommended (903) is not available in US stores. At Staples I was told to use 902 cartridges (genuine HP) but after inserting I got the error message "The Indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer."
How do I get my Printer to accept Genuine HP cartridges sold in US, and what cartridge model should I use?
Thanks,
David

You will need to Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a complete set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work. HP's web page on the subject is here.
In the US your Officejet 6950 will use the HP 902 or 902XL cartridges:
902 and 902XL Black 902 and 902XL Cyan 902 and 902XL Magenta 902 and 902XL Yellow | 903 and 903XL Black 903 and 903XL Cyan 903 and 903XL Magenta 903 and 903XL Yellow | 904 and 904XL Black 904 and 904XL Cyan 904 and 904XL Magenta 904 and 904XL Yellow | 905 and 905XL Black 905 and 905XL Cyan 905 and 905XL Magenta 905 and 905XL Yellow |
