I have an HP OfficeJet 5258 printer. I've never had an issue with it until today.
Both color and black cartridges are about 50% full of ink. But specifically the color cartridge (according to the HP Smart app) is causing an error to pop up suddenly.
"Cartridge is not communicating with the printer."
I follow all the suggested tips online and any of the tips will fix it, I'll print one page successfully, and then it will randomly pop up again. I've wiped the cartridges down, restarted, unplugged for a while, restarted computer, etc. Everything will fix it for a bit and it will print a job or maybe two but then it will pop up again later. The virtual assistant is not helpful at all and will never connect me to anybody. My issue is weird that it's constantly reoccurring.
