I understand the copies have vertical lines. Have you checked if the printouts from the computer also have lines on them?
A vertical line is a sign of an issue with the printer hardware. Replacing the ink cartridges will not help.
Perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve print quality issues - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
Clean the ink cartridges, print a test page, and check for the line.
Also, make a copy to check if the issue is with the scanner mechanism. If the line persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.
