Hello

My printer gives a status warning for the black cartridge.

It's a brand new cartridge that the printer doesn't detect anymore.

I allready changed to an other new cartridge with same result.

I tried a printer reset (5 secs power and X) no result.

The software is up-tp-date, latest firmware is installed.

Result: I can't print anything anymore.

Printer is now 2 years and 3 months, so it's just 3 months past the garanty.

Anyone with any more ideas?

@SddBel, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

If you have used 2 new black ink cartridges and if the printer is not detecting it, I'm afraid this is an issue with the printer.

Check with the old used black ink cartridge if the printer detects it.

 

Make sure the plastic tape if any is removed from the new ink cartridge before placing it in the printer.
