Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting print quality issues, I am glad to assist you.

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

If not, follow these steps:-

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

  3. Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

If that does not print fine, follow these steps to fix the issue:-

Try cleaning the printhead again, If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

  2. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  3. Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue.

  4. Examine the test page.

  5. If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. Repeat these steps for the third cleaning stage, if necessary.

  6. If the print quality is acceptable, touch Done.
