Product: HP ENVY 5010 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I have a HP ENVY 5010.

No problems printing at all.But when i print photos on photo paper when the photos are dry it leaves a dry ink soot all over the print and if i run afinger it smudges the photo.Can someone suggest the reasons please.

I see that you are facing ink smudging issues with your HP ENVY 5010 printer.


This issue could occur if paper type setting is not correct.

 

Please check the paper type settings from this document.

Tried what you suggested but still smudges even after  24 hour drying.Sounds like i hve to get good quality Photo paper.But many thanks for replying.But you solution directing me to HP is very helpful so i will accept your solutio.
