Hello, the printer constantly prints special characters etc. at the top of the page. So it doesn't print the text that is requested.

Printing is also continuous and only stops when you close the printer.

 

Would you please help, thanks.

If your HP Officejet 250 Mobile Printer is printing unwanted special characters and causing continuous printing issues, you can try the following steps to resolve the problem:

Cancel All Print Jobs

First, make sure to cancel all current print jobs:

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Cancel button to stop the ongoing print tasks.
  2. If the printer is not responsive, turn it off and unplug it from the power source.

Check Printer Connectivity

Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network:

  1. If connected via USB, check the cable for any damage and ensure it is securely connected.
  2. For wireless connections, ensure the printer has a stable network connection.

Reset Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for at least 60 seconds.
  2. Plug the printer back in and turn it on. This can help resolve any temporary errors.

Update Driver and Firmware

Make sure your printer driver and firmware are up to date:

  1. Go to the HP support page and search for your printer model.
  2. Download and install the latest driver and firmware updates.

Print a Test Page

Print a test page to check if the issue persists:

  1. From the printer control panel, navigate to "Setup" or "Print Reports" menu.
  2. Select "Print Quality Report" or any available test page option.
