HP DeskJet 2620 All-in-One Printer

I've recently bought an HP printer and taken out their monthly printer ink subscription. Two cartridges (one black, on colour) came with the printer and having taken out the monthly subscription I was sent two more cartridges. A while ago the black ink ran out so I replaced it with the one sent to me. The black ink in the printer is now showing as extremely low, but I'm still awaiting a replacement cartridge. Does it not get sent until the last minute?
