My ink cartridges consistently dry out after printing just a handful of pages - like 10-20 max. This is true of black and white and of color cartridges. Here are things we've tried that aren't working.
- I make sure and shut my printer down when I'm not using it, but that isn't solving the problem.
- I've tried taking out the cartridges and soaking them when they get dry, as people have suggested online, but it doesn't have long-term benefits.
- I've tried taking the cartridges out between uses and covering them in cellophane/saranwrap, but they still dried out.
- We print a test page once a week to ensure it's getting regular use.
What can I do to extend the life of my cartridges? This cost isn't sustainable.
Thanks, Lisa
