My HP Envy 4520 began printing jagged letters on envelopes. It prints other documents correctly. Only envelopes is a problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. I have tried printing using a USB cable rather than printing wireless. Always the same results.

@ZGreat7, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I see that the printer is not printing the envelopes correctly. Make sure you are using compatible envelopes. Refer to - Printer Specifications for HP DeskJet 4530, 4670, ENVY 4510, 4520, OfficeJet 4650 Printers

 

If the printer is able to print other documents fine, it means the printer hardware is working fine.

 

Check if the media is properly placed in the input tray, refer to - Loading Paper, Cards, and Envelopes

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
