Printer Message Supply Problem Yellow cartridge Not Communicating

When I try to print, it does not print at all. We get Message "Supply Problem": It shows the Yellow Cartridge. The "Help" button says "the indicated supplies are not communicating correctly with the printer." There is no message that the yellow cartridge is low (we never print in color.) So, somehow the Yellow Cartridge is not communicating with the printer.
I need to know if buying a very expensive single yellow cartridge and replacing it will actually fix the problem. The yellow cartridge is the last one in the line, and I just wonder if something is off, rather than the cartridge itself.

Yes. Replacing the expensive Cartridge U$80.00!!! Worked. But my toner is full. Why am I wasting $80? And throwing out a full cartridge? Any other solutions? Wiping down the connecter with some anti-static cleaning agent?

@Charmboy, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Yes, replacing the toner should work. And for the defective toner, you can free replacement from HP.
Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
@tennisjunkie, the same applies to your toner too.
Hope this helps!

Hi TEJ1602 (HP Support Agent). You said I should contact HP for my region got get a free replacement toner. I cannot get to a person or submit a form. I only get the Virtual agent as my Warranty only lasted until October. Do you have any way I can submit my request for a replacement toner? 202A Yellow. This is very frustrating not getting anywhere at this time. Been at it for a hour now.
