New computer tech with very little printer troubleshooting and repair experience and would appreciate the community's expertise. I have a printer making a loud sound (couldn't upload video) when printing. Any idea what could be causing it and print jobs to show like one of the pictures below? I ran the printer cleaning page, and it helped just a little. However, printing subsequent jobs returned copies like the one below. Help!

Depending on the noise, your print quality issues are as likely due to defective no name cartridges as anything else.

I'll go check on the cartridges. I thought they may have been HP cartridges, but I'm not sure. Below is the link to the sound the printer's making. The teacher was off campus for a couple days and said he came back to this issue with the printer. He's thinking the the students may have done something to the printer while he was out to cause the issue.

I'm having the hardest time removing the ITB from this device to wipe it down, as my supervisor suggested. I've followed the steps in the service manual and found a YouTube video for a similar printer. However, the ITB is not sliding out at all and will barely budge. Any ideas as to what could be holding it in so tightly?
