My printer does not print anything anymore. I am certain it's not an issue of dried up ink, because it was working fine when I bought it and then it stopped printing, so I replaced the ink cartridges thinking they were just low because they were the cartridges that came with the printer when I bought it. BRAND NEW HP ink cartridges did not print either. I tried to figure out how to clean the print heads, but I followed the instructions online and could not find anything in my computer settings that would allow me to access the utilities, as they instructed, so I gave up. Today after a LOT of frustrated research I finally found the link to the web page that commands the printer to clean the print heads remotely. I did this cleaning multiple times. It will print the test sheets but they only come out in very light colors. No black. Anything else that I try to print, especially in black, will not print AT ALL. This printer was purchased last year and has been used very lightly. It can't already be broken. I wish I had known that my warranty was about to expire when I was having these problems so I could get some real help. I still was covered under warranty when I started having these issues. My warranty just expired 2 weeks ago so now that I am trying to fix it of course HP will provide ZERO help for me because I am not under warranty anymore. Stupid me. No wonder this product was cheap. I will never buy a cheap printer ever again in my life.

I replaced both ink cartridges and it is printing a lot better now. Just really annoyed because the ink cartridges that I had in there before were also brand new genuine HP cartridges, but they didn’t work at all. Waste of money.
