Product: hp ENVY 5660
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I have never had an issue printing photos on high gloss paper. I recently switched to hp brand Premium Plus SOFT-GLOSS paper and everything I print comes out with smeared ink. What is the issue here?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Does the copying and printing on plain paper work fine?

Refer to specs: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05039617 to know more about photo paper used meets the printer's Paper Handling.
