@Pravash10, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Driver and Print Quality Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you are experiencing issues with setting up your printer driver or if your print quality is low, follow these steps to resolve the problem.

1. Verify Printer Driver Settings

  • Ensure you have the correct printer driver installed. If necessary, download the appropriate driver from the HP website for your printer model. Different operating systems may require different drivers:
    • PCL.6 driver for older operating systems like Windows XP and Vista.
    • PCL 6 driver for Windows 7 and newer operating systems.
    • UPD PS driver for printing with Adobe software or other graphics-intensive programs.

You can download these drivers from the HP support website: HP Support.

2. Calibrate the Printer to Align Colors

Calibration can help resolve print quality issues like misaligned colors, shadows, or blurry graphics.

  1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, select the Support Tools menu.
  2. Select Maintenance, then Calibration/Cleaning, and finally Full Calibration.
  3. Press Start to begin the calibration process.

3. Inspect the Toner Cartridge

Visually inspect each toner cartridge:

  1. Remove the toner cartridge and ensure the sealing tape has been removed.
  2. Check the memory chip for damage.
  3. Examine the green imaging drum for scratches or fingerprints. If damaged, replace the cartridge.
  4. Reinstall the cartridge and print a test page.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
