Hi @KLJ58,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Paper Settings:

  • Ensure that the paper size and type settings in the print dialog match the actual paper loaded in the printer.
  • Go to Printer preferences in Windows and verify the Paper Size and Paper Type.

Align Printheads:

  • Printhead alignment can resolve off-center printing issues.
  • Access the HP Smart app or Printer software on your computer. Navigate to Maintenance or Tools and select the option to Align Printheads.

Check Margins and Layout Settings:

  • Ensure that the document margins and layout settings in your printing application are correct.
  • Check that no offsets are set beyond the allowable range.

Calibrate the Printer:

  • Calibrate the printer to ensure it is aligned correctly:
    1. Open the HP Smart app or Printer software.
    2. Go to Settings and look for maintenance or calibration options.
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate your printer.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that your printer drivers are up-to-date. Outdated drivers can cause printing issues.
  • You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.

Perform Printer Reset:

  • Resetting the printer can often resolve alignment and printing issues.
  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the paper path that might be causing the issue.
  • Open the printer and check that the paper path is clear.

I hope this helps.
