After I changed the tonner catridge, it is asking for password when I tried to so any system setup. It was not asking for it before

Try these steps:

Check Default Password: The default username and password for HP printers are often both "admin" or the password could be blank (leave it empty). Try using these to log in.

Reset Admin Password:

  • If you know the current password, you might access the printer's control panel or web interface to reset it.
  • If you don’t, consult the printer manual or HP's website to find the instructions for performing a factory reset or a password reset.

Factory Reset:

  • A factory reset might be necessary, which will reset all settings back to factory defaults, including any network or security settings. This is usually accessible through the printer’s menu under "Settings" > "Service" > "Restore Defaults."
  • Please note that this will erase any existing configurations, so you'll need to set up the printer again.
