Hello,

 

I got my printer which I was using in UK, to India. Recommended ink cartridge in UK was 305 and in India it is 805. When I installed 805 cartridge it doesn't recognise it and gives error.

 

How can this be fixed? Any help is appreciated.

I will be more than happy to help you out here. 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:  

  

1. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer. 

2. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to. 

3. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.

Thanks for the response. I do have new cartridge from India (number 805) and HP smart app is also installed on the laptop.

Please guide further.

Hello Max3Aj, 

 

Unfortunately, the options provided on the private message to reset the printer are not working and neither the steps the steps to find contact center number are working. Can you guide me here on the contact center numbers so that I can make my printer useful?
