My HP printer 364 keeps telling me one or more cartridges appear to be missing. It came up as the magenta. I have changed it twice with original HP ink (from Currys) but no success.

Please help. Thanks

To check if an HP ink cartridge is genuine, look for a security label on the cartridge, scan the QR code on the label with your phone, and then go to HP's website hp.com/go/ok to verify the serial number on the label; if the label appears tampered or the serial number doesn't validate, the cartridge is likely not genuine.

If you cannot capture QR codes with a smartphone, go to the HP Mobile Authentication website at the URL shown on new security labels hp.com/go/ok and enter the label's serial number to validate the label. A valid response indicates that the cartridge is safe for purchase.

The issue is not with the quality of the cartridge. The cartridge is genuine. I believe it is with the printer. But i cannot figure is out.  It was jammed while photocopying. I cleared the jam. Then came the error message

The only model 364 HP printer I can find is HP's Samsung  CLP-364.  It uses toners, not ink.  I looked for a 364 inkjet and was unable to find one in the HP database.

Possibly one of the HP youtube support videos might be helpful.

enter your printer model where the magnifier is.

Thanks for your prompt response. The printer is actually HP Deskjet 3520 which runs on ink 364

Thanks so much. A particular video, created by HP Support a year ago, was very useful. The title is 'How to fix ink cartridge errors on HP Inkjet printers'. The problem is resolved now. Once again, thank you.
