Officejet Pro 6230 is not recognizing 2 different, brand new HP black ink cartridges, but it still recognizes the old one. Tried cleaning, resetting the printer by powering off and unplugging. Still will not recognize either of the new black ink cartridges.

Are the cartridges HP 934 or 934XL?
What exactly are the blinking light patterns as described in the document here?
