Hi @K34,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The event code 62.80.15 usually indicates an issue with the printhead. It’s possible that the printhead has dried out, especially if the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer hasn’t been used for a while. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:

  1. Check the Printhead:
    • Open the printer and inspect the printhead. Look for any visible blockages or dried ink.

  2. Clean the Printhead:
    • Use the printer's built-in cleaning functionality to clean the printhead. This can usually be done from the printer's control panel under maintenance or tools settings.
    • If the printer hasn't been used for an extended period, repeated cleaning cycles might be necessary.

  3. Perform a Manual Cleaning (if needed):
    • If automated cleaning doesn’t work, consider manually cleaning the printhead. You can gently clean the printhead with a lint-free cloth and a small amount of distilled water. Be sure to follow any specific instructions provided by HP for your printer model.

  4. Replace the Ink Cartridges:
    • Ensure that you are using genuine HP ink cartridges and that they are properly installed.

  5. Check Firmware and Software Updates:
  6. Reset the Printer:
    • Power off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
