After replacing the black cartridge, our printer successfully printed the alignment page. However now when trying to print a job we keep getting an error that there is a door open on the printer. We have opened and closed everything numerous times. We have unplugged everything turned everything off and reset. We have taken the cartridges back out and put back in. We continue to get the error. We have changed cartridges before with no problem and cannot figure out what has gone wrong.
Have you tried using the old black ink cartridge and check if the error persists?
I see that you have performed all the necessary steps to resolve this issue. perform the steps mentioned in this document - A 'Paper Jam' Error to make sure there are no obstructions inside the printer.
If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
