Hi @Raid321,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are experiencing issues where your HP printer only prints a test page and not any other documents can be frustrating. Here’s a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot this problem:

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure your printer is set as the default printer in your computer’s settings.
  • Confirm there are no error messages or blinking lights on the printer display.

Clear Print Queue:

  • Open the print queue on your computer and delete any stuck print jobs.
  • Try printing a new document after clearing the queue.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the computer via a USB cable or network.
  • If connected wirelessly, make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.

Update or Reinstall Drivers:

  • Sometimes, outdated or corrupt drivers can cause printing issues. Visit the HP Official HP® Support to download the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Uninstall the existing printer driver and reinstall the correct one.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Open the printer settings on your computer and verify that the paper size and type settings match the paper loaded in the printer.

Perform a Printer Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn on the printer.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
