HP DeskJet 2752 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I put a new ink cartridge in my printer as it was empty, then when I went to print a document I need it printed out every single line of words almost completely cut off. I have reset the printer, cleaned and aligned the ink head and the smear and it is still doing it. I have also take out the cartridge and replaced it several times.

  • Check Ink Cartridge Installation: Make sure the ink cartridge is properly installed. Ensure that you've removed any protective tapes or seals from the cartridge before installing it.
  • Print Quality Diagnostic: Most printers have a print quality diagnostic or test page function. Use this feature to print a test page and check if the issue persists. If the test page also shows the same problem, it's likely a printer hardware issue.
  • Clean Print Head: Even though you mentioned cleaning the ink head, it might still be worth trying again. Sometimes, stubborn clogs or debris can cause printing issues. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to clean the print head properly.
  • Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer settings on your computer are correctly configured. Sometimes, incorrect settings can cause printing problems. Check settings such as paper size, orientation, and print quality.
