I’ve just bought ink in Tesco for a HP deskjet 2820e and it says it doesn’t have a correct chip for my printer ..why sell them and is there anyway around the problem

The issue you’re encountering with your HP DeskJet 2820e printer appears to be due to an ink cartridge that doesn’t have a compatible chip. HP printers use security chips to ensure the cartridges are genuine and specifically matched to your printer model.

 

We request that you please verify that you’re using genuine HP cartridges and that the cartridge model is compatible with your printer.

 

To assist you better, please send us a DM with your printer’s serial number, cartridge details, and your contact information. We’ll check this further and guide you with the next steps.
