Hi @Angelo1962,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your printer is producing blank pages when printing PDF documents, but ink levels are good, there are a few potential causes and solutions to explore:
1. Check PDF File Integrity
- Ensure the PDF file is not corrupted. Try opening the PDF in a different viewer (like Adobe Acrobat Reader or another PDF reader) and see if the issue persists.
- Try printing a different PDF file to check if the problem is specific to one document or affects all PDFs.
2. Update or Reinstall PDF Reader Software
- Make sure your PDF reader software (like Adobe Acrobat Reader) is up-to-date. Outdated software might have compatibility issues.
- If necessary, reinstall the PDF reader to resolve any software-related issues.
3. Check Printer Settings and Properties
- In your printer settings, ensure that the correct paper type and print quality settings are selected.
- Access the print dialog (usually by pressing “Print” in the PDF reader), and make sure the printer settings are correctly configured for your document.
4. Try Printing in a Different Format
- Convert the PDF to another format (like an image or text file) and try printing it from there. This can help determine if the issue is with the PDF file or the printer.
5. Update Printer Drivers
- Outdated or incompatible printer drivers can cause printing issues. Download and install the latest drivers for your HP Envy 6065e from the HP website.
6. Check Printer Ink Levels and Cartridge Health
- Even though you mentioned ink levels are good, it’s worth double-checking that the cartridges are installed correctly and that there are no issues with the ink cartridges themselves.
7. Perform a Printer Test Print
- Try printing a test page or a different type of document (like a text file) to see if the issue is specific to PDFs or affects all types of printing.
8. Check for Firmware Updates
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up-to-date. Firmware updates can resolve various printing issues. Check for updates on the HP website.
9. Perform a Printer Reset
- Sometimes a full reset can resolve persistent issues. Check your printer’s manual or HP support website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
10. Check for Paper or Printhead Issues
- Ensure there is no paper jam or debris in the printer that could be affecting the print quality.
- Perform a printhead cleaning cycle if your printer has that option.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
