Hi,
My printer is printing mostly empty pages with the black ink cartridge. About 10% of the page is printed & the rest is blank. Can’t tell if it’s an ink cartridge or printer issue? The color on the test page prints fine though there is no black ink on the test page.

Hi @Mhnewjersey,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Have you tried with alternate ink cartridges and checked if the issue persists?
Check the estimated ink levels. Replace any low or empty ink cartridges.
If the ink cartridge nozzles are badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page, and then evaluate the results.
Load plain paper into the input tray.
On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.
Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.
Check the print quality.
For more info, refer to - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, and Other Print Quality Issues.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
