Envy 5020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just put new black cartridge in printer HP Envy 5020 printer and when i print something there is just a blank page . I did cartridge cleaning , align cartridges and also unplugged for a minute and the printer then say's " cartridge are set to default print quality ". Need to know how to correct this so i can print information that i require . Sorry not sure what type of printer i have if it is Inkjet , Laser Jet , etc . Await

You could either return/replace it to the store/website you purchased it from or contact the HP Support Team regarding a replacement.

Was everything working fine with the old black ink? Are you able to copy in black?

 

It could be a defective ink.

Hi Betty0610,

Yes i was able to print in  black with old cartridges , have placed new cartridge and now unable to print in black , expiry date on new cartridge is July 2022 .
