Hi there!

 

I am having a couple of issues with my HP DeskJet 4720 printer. Everything was working perfectly fine until recently when I noticed that the printer started to have problems. It’s now skipping lines, putting too much space between them, and the header isn’t displaying correctly.

 

I  tried cleaning the print heads and doing an alignment through the HP Smart App, but that didn’t help. I also replaced the color cartridge because it was low on ink, but the problem still persists.

 

Can any one please assist me with fixing this?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Since you’ve already tried cleaning the print heads, doing an alignment, and even replacing the color cartridge, you’ve covered some important steps — so you’re definitely on the right track! Here are a few additional things we can try:

 

Check the Paper Settings:
– Open the document you’re trying to print.
– Go to File > Print and check the print settings.
– Make sure the paper size and type match what’s loaded in the printer tray.

 

Update or Reinstall the Printer Drivers:
– Go to the HP website and search for the latest drivers for your DeskJet 4720.
– Download and install any available updates.
– Alternatively, you can uninstall the printer from your computer and reinstall it to reset the settings.

 

Try a Different Print Quality Setting:
– Open Printer Settings through the HP Smart App or your computer.
– Set the print quality to Best or Normal instead of Draft.
– Sometimes lower quality settings can cause alignment issues.

 

Manually Clean the Print Heads:
– If the automatic cleaning didn’t work, try manually cleaning the print heads using a lint-free cloth and distilled water.
– Make sure to let them dry completely before reinstalling.
