I understand how frustrating it can be to have cartridge issues, especially when you need to print something important. Let’s work together to resolve this.

 

Check for Error Messages: If your printer displays a specific error code, let me know—it can help pinpoint the issue.

Remove & Reinsert the Cartridges: Open the printer, take out the ink cartridges, and gently wipe the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth. Then, reinsert them securely.

Restart Your Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for about 60 seconds, and then power it back on.

Check for Firmware Updates: Go to HP Support Assistant or visit HP’s website to update your printer’s firmware.

Try a Different Cartridge: If possible, test with another genuine HP cartridge to see if the issue is with the cartridge itself.

 

A Few Questions to Narrow It Down:

Are you using genuine HP cartridges or third-party ones? Sometimes, non-HP cartridges can cause detection issues.

Did this problem start after a cartridge replacement, or has it been ongoing for a while?

Do you see any specific error messages on the printer screen or your computer?
