We have an HP Color LaserJet CP 2025 that has started having issues. The red and yellow colors are very blurry. The print looks like double vision. Sometimes after printing a few pages, it turns and turns but no paper comes out.

Hello Sally189,
Thank you for posting your concern,
Blurry prints and issues with color alignment, such as the ones you are experiencing with your HP Color LaserJet CP2025, can be caused by a few different factors. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to try resolving the issue:
1. Check the Toner Cartridges:
- Ensure Proper Installation: Make sure all toner cartridges are correctly installed and seated securely in the printer.
- Inspect for Damage: Check the red (magenta) and yellow toner cartridges for any visible damage or leaks.
- Replace if Necessary: If the cartridges are running low or are damaged, consider replacing them.
2. Calibrate the Printer:
- Many LaserJet printers allow for color calibration, which adjusts the settings to correct color misalignment.
- You can usually find this option in the printer’s menu under "Maintain Print Cartridge" or "Tools".
3. Clean the Printer:
- Cleaning: Use the printer’s cleaning function inside the control panel menu to remove any toner residue or debris that could be affecting print quality.
4. Check the Paper Path:
- Ensure there are no jams or obstructions in the paper path. The issue where the printer turns and no paper comes out can indicate a jam or a misfed paper.
5. Update Printer Firmware:
- Make sure the printer firmware is updated. Sometimes issues are resolved with newer firmware versions. You can find firmware updates on HP’s official support website.
6. Inspect the Imaging Drum:
- Sometimes the imaging drum can become worn or damaged, resulting in print defects. Check the drum for any visible signs of wear or damage. If needed, replace the imaging drum.
7. Run a Printer Diagnostic:
- Some printers have built-in diagnostic tools that can help diagnose and resolve issues. Check your printer’s user manual for more details.
8. Check for Software Issues:
- Ensure that the printer driver is up to date and compatible with your operating system.
If, after attempting these steps, the problem persists, consulting with HP support or an authorized service provider might be necessary for further diagnosis and repair.
