Note for common printer problems
Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. Printer keeps on flashing cartriage error. Plus it does not print documents.

I just bought this printer last week. Unfortunately, store just give us this printer and let us install the drivers. After 10 pages of printer, it stops! Next thing we know, it keeps on flashing error

What is the error you're getting? 

Let's try to reset the Printer here:

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.
