I'm enrolled in HP Instant Ink. We ran low on black ink but the printer said we still had some so we didnt get a replacement. When it stopped printing entirely, I went to an office store and purchased an HP 67XL black cartridge. I read that it's ok to use original HP ink cartridges along with Instant Ink; you just can't use Instant Ink cartridges if you aren't enrolled. The printer keeps getting an error that there's a cartridge error (can't communicate with cartridge or something). I've done everything, resetting the cartridge, restarting the printer, removing the cartridge, turning the printer off, waiting a few minutes, turning it on and then replacing the cartridge...nothing works. Can I use a regular ink cartridge along with an Instant Ink cartridge, or am I not able to print until HP sends me a new black cartridge? (Really regretting signing up for Instant Ink).
