HP LaserJet Pro M15a Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I am having difficulty getting my printer to print things.  It has done this about the life of the printer but I figured it was a kink that would work its way out and since I did not use it much before I didn't worry about it.  Now I am trying to get it to print but its not finishing the job, its starts and acts like it will print usually it gets about 3 inches down the page and then the rest is just blank, its almost like the connection is lost or canceled mid print.  I checked and updated everything fully, sometimes i can resize or move to a different browser and get it to work but it varies.  Anyone else have issue like this??

Hi @TatorChip08,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Step 1: Use a genuine HP toner cartridge

HP recommends that you use genuine HP ink or toner supplies. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP or refilled cartridges. If you do not use genuine HP cartridges, the steps in this document might not resolve the issue. To check the authenticity of your cartridges, go to the HP anti-counterfeit webpage (in English).

Purchase replacement cartridges and other supplies from the HP Store or local retailers.

Print another page. If using a genuine HP toner cartridge did not resolve the issue, continue to the next step.

Step 2: Check the paper

The quality and type of paper can affect the print job. Follow these guidelines to make sure the paper is appropriate. If it is not, load an appropriate paper type.

Use paper designed for HP LaserJet printers. Do not use paper designed only for inkjet printers.

Do not use paper that is too rough. Smoother paper might result in better print quality.

After loading appropriate paper in the tray, print another page. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.

Click here for the remaining steps.

Update the firmware and drivers for the printer. Click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
