My printer was bought in February 2021. In is now not printing clearly. Cartridges are fairly new and I have HP Instant Ink. Printer say cartridges do no need changing. I have cleaned printed and aligned but no improvement. My account says out of warranty. I note from my previous printer bill that only lasted 2 years and 3 months before I needed to change it. Is this built in obsolescence? An HP strategy to get us to keep buying replacements>

I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas how I can sort this out. I badly need my printer to work on my taxes!

I see that you are facing an issue with print quality on your printer.

A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
