Hi @Diana323,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is not printing color, there are a few possible reasons and solutions that you can try.

  • Check the ink levels: Make sure that your printer has enough ink in the color cartridges. If the ink levels are low or empty, replace the cartridges.
  • Clean the printhead: Over time, the printhead may become clogged with dry ink, which can prevent the printer from printing color. To clean the printhead, go to the printer's settings or maintenance menu and select the option to clean the printhead.
  • Check the color settings: Ensure that the printer is set to print in color, and not black and white or grayscale mode. You can check this in the printer settings or preferences.
  • Check the printer driver: If the printer driver is outdated or corrupted, it can cause printing issues. Try reinstalling the printer driver or updating it to the latest version.
  • Check the color settings on your computer: If you are printing from a computer, make sure that the color settings are set correctly. Check the printer settings in the application you are printing from, and ensure that it is set to print in color.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
