Hi @Luv5,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your printer not working HP Deskjet 1010 Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To assist better:
May I know the operating system windows or Mac OS?
Since when are you facing this issue
Have you made any changes on your printer post that this issue raised and have you observed the power light blinking
May I know if you are using genuine cartridges
Could you please elaborate on the issue?
Meanwhile please try this
Here are a few steps you can try to diagnose and resolve the problem:
Check Power and Connections:
- Ensure the printer is properly plugged into a power source and turned on.
- Verify that all cables (power and USB) are securely connected.
Check for Error Messages:
- Look at the printer’s display or any lights to see if there are any error messages or warning lights.
Paper Jams:
- Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions.
Ink Cartridges:
- Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Remove and reinstall them if necessary.
Printer Driver:
- Ensure that you have the correct and updated printer driver installed on your computer. You can download the latest driver from the HP website.
Printer Status:
- Check the printer status on your computer. Go to the Control Panel > Devices and Printers, find your printer, and see if it shows any errors.
Printer Troubleshooter:
- Use the built-in printer troubleshooter on your computer. On Windows, you can find this by going to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Printer.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
